Coordinator – Bridge of Hope @ Hannah’s House

Bridge of Hope is a faith-based three-way partnership between a single mother, a group of mentoring friends from a local Christian faith community and the Bridge of Hope Coordinator. (www.bridgeofhopeinc.org). This part-time position (20-25 hours/week) offers competitive compensation and flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.  Responsibilities include providing case-management services to up to four women and children facing homelessness, recruiting and training volunteer mentors and promoting the program to prospective participants and referral sources.  Requires an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field and relevant previous experience. Preferred qualifications include case management experience with families facing poverty, and strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and computer skills. The female-headed families we serve are facing homelessness and poverty and can be slow to trust, so familiarity with this population, cultural humility and creativity are required, along with a valid driver’s license and use of a reliable personal vehicle. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference through intensive involvement with a small number of families.
