Bridge of Hope

Hannah’s House has partnered with BRIDGE OF HOPE! Bridge of Hope is a nationally recognized mentoring program that successfully prevents and ends homelessness for single mothers with an 80% success rate. And now this successful mentoring model is a program site within Hannah’s House and supported by the National Bridge of Hope organization.

Bridge of  Hope ends and prevents homelessness for women and children with the help of trained mentoring groups within congregations. Our goal is to exemplify Christ’s love and to promote physical, emotional, social and spiritual wholeness.

Single mothers attain:

  • permanent housing
  • financial stability through employment
  • life-changing friendships
  • growth and wholeness

The Bridge of Hope program at Hannah’s House gives priority consideration to women with a Hannah’s House association, either current or former residents. Other women from St. Joseph County will be considered if there is adequate funding, staff and mentors, and if all possibilities of applicants with a Hannah’s House connection have been exhausted.

The Bridge of Hope program is made possible, in part, with support from Our Sunday Visitor.
